Speed Bag Gathering 2025 at R3 Boxing in Poway, CA (San Diego) Sep 19th and 20th - open to the public - no pre-registration needed.

 

We are asking a $20 donation to support the event costs.

 

Friday Sept 19th

12pm - 8pm - Open PUNCH!!

We’ll have several speed bag platforms up and ready to punch. Come meet your new baggin’ friends and have fun!

NOTE: There will be an INDOOR setup and an OUTDOOR setup . During R3’s scheduled class times - we will be bagging’ OUTSIDE - so bring Sunblock, Hats, Chairs, and Sunglasses, etc.

Come try the Speed Demon 2 (Prototype) or the OG Speed Demon. Practice and get warmed up for the CONTESTS we’ll have on Saturday.

Do some impromptu punch drumming - we’ll have a sound system you can connect to via Bluetooth.

 

Saturday Sept 20th

12pm - 1pm. - Pizza party at the gym.

Contest practice starts at 12 too. Events are (Subject to change):

* Max Rebounds - Speed Demon

* Max Triplet Rhythm - Speed Demon 2

* “All Around the Bag” - Speed Demon 2

* Max Double Bounce - Speed Demon 2

2pm - Bagger Spotlight - Step up into the spotlight for 5 minutes and give us a short demo and show off your favorite moves (Volunteers needed!)

3pm - Punch Drumming Exhibition - We provide the sound system - you provide the music and the bag beat. (Volunteers to punch drum needed - you can provide the music via Bluetooth! - Punch to ANY SONG you want!)

 

4pm - GROUP Photo - don’t miss your opportunity to be in the official GROUP PHOTO of the event

 

4pm - 7pm - Contest finals

We’ll pronounce a winner for each of the contests! What’s your prize? The fame and glory of being crowned the speed bag champ!

8pm - Event ends - Let’s find a local bar / restaurant to hang for a few more hours!
